Automations Widget

Add the Automations Widget to your Home Screen to check an automation’s status and run it manually.

Prerequisites

• A configured automation with Enabled turned on
• Premium access for automations
• Access to the selected health data and any permissions required by the destination

Adding the Widget

1. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen.
2. Tap Edit → Add Widget (or + on older iOS versions).
3. Search for Auto Export and select Automations.
4. Tap Add Widget, place it on your Home Screen, then tap Done.

Configuring the Widget

1. Touch and hold the widget, then tap Edit Widget.
2. Tap the automation selection and choose an enabled automation.
3. Tap outside the widget to save.

Each widget supports one automation. Add separate widgets for other automations you want to use.

Understanding Widget Status

• Green: The automation is up to date.
• Orange: The automation is due to sync.
• Gray: No enabled automation is selected or available.

The widget also shows the last run date and time. Its status may lag behind the app because iOS controls widget refresh timing.

Using the Widget

Unlock your device, then tap the cloud button in the center of the widget to run the selected automation.

Automatic refresh timing is controlled by iOS, and reading health data requires an unlocked device. See automation limitations.

Troubleshooting

If the widget stays orange or shows outdated information:

1. Check that it is selected for the correct enabled automation.
2. Unlock your device and tap the cloud button to try a run.
3. Open the automation’s View Activity Logs to check the result. See Activity Logs.
